FEFANA Asbl is the EU Association of feed additives and premixtures operators. It was established on October 13th, 2004 and is the new juridical form of the feed additives producers association that was founded in 1963. The association is the interface between the feed additives industry and the European Union authorities, including Member States authorities, in order to promote, safeguard and defend common and general interests of the industry. 1. General structure and principles of the association
The main aspects of the association are as follow:
FEFANA operates as an integrated European network;
full membership is open to any legal entities with corporate responsibility for a registered and continuous business activity in manufacture, import or distribution of feed additives or premixtures in the European Union (including Norway, Switzerland and Iceland);

2. Application for membership in FEFANA Asbl
Applications for membership shall be made in writing to the Board of Directors via the Secretary General; including an undertaking by the applicant to be bound by the Association's By-Laws and its ethics code, and information about the company activities.

Applications shall be approved or rejected by a resolution at the FEFANA Board passed by simple majority of the votes cast.
The company shall be invited to provide information on its turnover range and the name of its representative.
